Pre-registration info

Dear Students,
It’s that time of the year again – those of you returning to AUBG in the fall need to pre-register for courses. Here is some additional information that should help you plan your course schedule.
1) We are excited to welcome a new full-time faculty member in the ranks of our department. You can see coverage of his job talk at AUBG here. Next semester, he will teach two sections of POS 102 (which will again include a simulation organized outside of class), and a POS topics course on Soviet and post-Soviet politics.
2) EUR 302 Comparative Politics of Europe and EUR/POS 307 Research Methods in Politics can be taken for either EUR or POS credit. You can register for the former only from the EUR registration page, and for the latter – only from the POS page.
3) Please note that POS majors can take one of the following as a POS topics course: EUR 405b European Security; ECO 310 Econometrics; PHI 304 Modern and Contemporary Political Philosophy.
4) Please keep in mind that students who have signed up for two majors cannot double-count more than three courses.
Please to not hesitate to seek further information about our course offerings from Prof. Phillips, Prof. Sardamov, or the faculty member teaching a particular course.
Good luck, Department of Politics and European Studies
