From AUBG to the UN

We have Invited Asya Varbanova, an AUBG alumna, to talk about her path from AUBG to the United Nations. She graduated in 2003 with two majors – Political Science/International Relations and Business. She then went on to earn a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Minnesota. Asya is currently Head of Office of UN Women (the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women) in Serbia, and she previously worked in Macedonia. She was profiled a few years ago on the AUBG web site. IS
